Great Times at The Great Hall & Conference Center, Germantown, TN, Michelle East Photography, Event Photography

I am enjoying my new role as Official Photographer of The Great Hall and Conference Center.

Love working with the Manager Chuck Porter and his staff.  Here are some pictures from a wedding I photographed over the weekend.  I think the The Great Hall and Conference Center  looks so elegant when dressed for a reception. It is truly an amazing place to have an event!

Here is what the outside of The Great Hall looks like for those of you who have never been.

Germantown Artist Michelle East with Artist Christina Katrakis

Here are some pictures from the reception for Christina Katrakis
at the Memphis Botanic Garden last week.

This painting is based on Christina's sexy stiletto shoes she had on at the reception.
Title of this painting is "The Artist's Shoes".
Wish I could wear sexy shoes like that!

To see the great work that Christina is doing, www.ChristinaKatrakis.com

I have had the pleasure of studying with her for the last month and I have enjoyed every minute of her teaching. Please join us for her workshops on Monday 10-2! She is a fabulous teacher!

Have you gotten your Germantown Calendar in the mail yet? (All you Germantown residents!)
If so, turn to May and you will see my Luke on a Germantown fire truck! Then turn to December and you will see a picture of Santa that I took at the city holiday parade!

It was great to work with the city staff on this project! A big thank you to them for putting my name and website to give me photo credit. THANK YOU!!
We live in an awesome city!

Michelle East Studio Germantown Artist Exhibits at WINGS Gallery

Hi All! What a whirlwind of a month it has been since I last posted to this blog!

I hope you are all enjoying this wonderful holiday season! Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas!

Today was a cool day! Two of my art pieces were in a gallery show and it was so exciting to see my work hanging amongst so many talented artist's work. I am not worthy!
The show is on for a month at Wings Gallery on Humphries Blvd in Memphis.

Did I mention there was a band at the reception...and wine and cheese!

These are not the best photos with all that florescent light going on in there
but you get the idea!

I will have many more paintings to show you as we enter into 2010!

All the best to you and yours,
Michelle
