Fabulous evening at Fountain Art Gallery last night!  Around 250 people showed up for an evening of fine wine tasting and art show.  I was blown away by the turnout. Thank you so much to everyone who came!

 This is Silver Palms Chardonnay - the wine I am paired up with! I love the bottle and can't wait to try it at the wine tasting.  I would be delighted if you joined me! 

 Silver Palm Chardonnay 2009 – Using cutting-edge & traditional artisan winemaking techniques, winemaker Melissa Bates meticulously fashions this superb fruit into a chic and elegant chardonnay.  ‘For the Premier release of our chardonnay, I to ferment in stainless steel, preserving delicate fruit characteristics and avoiding any overbearing flavors that an oak barrel might impart. Our debut chardonnay glistens in the glass and greets the nose with the perfume of apple blossom and pear. On the palate, ripe flavors of white peach, Gravenstein apple and Meyer lemon glide seamlessly like a silk ribbon. A near flinty finish provides balanced acidity and leaves the palate yearning for another sip.’

In July I will be bringing some of my artwork over to Kirby Wines and Liquors in order to promote Fountain Art Gallery's wine tasting event scheduled for August 5th in the evening.  I hope you all can join us for a lovely evening of art and of course wine!  There will be a wine expert from Kirby Wines & Liquors on site for the evening and wonderful tapas available from Just for Lunch.  Fountain Art Gallery is located in Chickasaw Oaks Village shopping center, Poplar Ave in Memphis Tn.  


The fun part about this event is that each of us new artists at Fountain Art    Gallery have been paired up with a wine!
